Apple approved an increase to the company's quarterly dividend of approximately 8 percent and has declared a dividend of $3.29 per common share, payable on May 15, 2014 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 12, 2014. The Company also plans to increase its dividend on an annual basis.
Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a 6.1% increase in the quarterly dividend rate, from $0.66 per share to $0.70 per share. The next quarterly dividend is payable on June 10, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 27, 2014. The ex-dividend date is May 22, 2014.
Pfizer declared a 26-cent second-quarter 2014 dividend on the company's common stock, payable June 3, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 9, 2014.
The Board of Directors of Citigroup declared a quarterly dividend on Citigroup's common stock of $0.01 per share, payable on May 23, 2014 to stockholders of record on May 5, 2014.
And, Visa (NYSE:V) announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share of class A common stock payable on June 3, 2014, to all holders of record of the Company's class A, B and C common stock as of May 16, 2014.
