Discover Financial Services (NYSE:DFS) announced that its Board of Directors has approved a new $3.2 billion share repurchase program and increased the quarterly common stock dividend from $0.20 to $0.24 per share, payable on May 22, 2014, to holders of record at the close of business on May 8, 2014.
Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share of outstanding common stock. The dividend is payable on July 11, 2014 to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 4, 2014.
The Goldman Sachs Group declared a dividend of $0.55 per common share to be paid on June 27, 2014 to common shareholders of record on May 30, 2014.
