Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) announced a quarterly common stock dividend of $.35 per share, an increase of five cents, or 17 percent, per share from the prior quarter. The dividend is payable June 1, 2014, to stockholders of record on May 9, 2014, as approved today by the Wells Fargo board of directors.
Costco Wholesale (NASDAQ:COST) announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on Costco common stock and approved an increase from $.31 to $.355 per share, or from $1.24 to $1.42 per share on an annualized basis. The quarterly dividend is payable May 30, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 16, 2014.
BB&T Corporation (NYSE:BBT) declared a dividend of $0.24 per common share, a 1-cent, or 4.3-percent, increase from the prior quarterly common dividend and a 1-cent increase from the same quarter a year ago. The dividend is payable June 2, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of business May 16, 2014.
Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.3175 per share of Common Stock, payable in cash on June 15, 2014 to stockholders of record on May 31, 2014.
And, Corning (NYSE:GLW) declared a quarterly dividend on the company's common stock of $0.10 per share, payable on June 30, 2014, to holders of record on May 30, 2014.
