This morning, Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) declared its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share, an increase of 50% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1% going forward. Shares of Southwest Airlines were lower on Wednesday, falling 0.2% so far.
In other dividend news, International Paper (NYSE:IP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share. Broadcom (NASDAQ:BRCM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share. Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. And Pengrowth Energy (NYSE:PGH) maintained its monthly dividend of 4 cents per share.
