In trading on Tuesday, the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (AMEX:VWO) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 0.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sesa Sterlite (SSLT), up about 5.3% and shares of Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical (NYSE:SHI), up about 3.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Metals and Mining ETF (AMEX:XME), down about 1.1% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of Molycorp (NYSE:MCP), lower by about 5.5%, and shares of Walter Energy (NYSE:WLT), lower by about 4.4% on the day.
