After the bell on Thursday, Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) declared its quarterly dividend of 30.5 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders the prior quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.9% going forward. Shares of Medtronic were modestly lower on Friday, falling 0.3%.
In other dividend news, H&R Block (NYSE:HRB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share. And Martin Marietta Materials (NYSE:MLM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Brinker International (NYSE:EAT) announced its quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share, an increase of about 17% over its prior dividend. And G&K Services (NASDAQ:GK) announced its quarterly dividend of 31 cents per share, an increase of about 15%.
