The First Trust Mid Cap Growth AlphaDEX Fund ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 207,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 34,000. Shares of FNY were up about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were WPX Energy, trading up about 5.8% with over 12.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Roku, down about 2.7% on volume of over 10.4 million shares. Parsley Energy is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 12.5% on the day, while Intercept Pharmaceuticals is lagging other components of the First Trust Mid Cap Growth AlphaDEX Fund ETF, trading lower by about 7.8%.
