Within the sector, Endo International plc (NASDAQ:ENDP) and McKesson Corp (NYSE:MCK) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 5.5% and 3.5%, respectively. Among healthcare ETFs, one ETF following the sector is the Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (AMEX:XLV), which is up 0.7% on the day, and up 5.61% year-to-date. Endo International plc, meanwhile, is down 22.53% year-to-date, and McKesson Corp is up 3.51% year-to-date. Combined, ENDP and MCK make up approximately 1.2% of the underlying holdings of XLV.
The next best performing sector is the Financial sector, up 0.7%. Among large Financial stocks, Aetna Inc. (NYSE:AET) and Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) are the most notable, showing a gain of 3.5% and 3.0%, respectively. One ETF closely tracking Financial stocks is the Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF), which is up 1.2% in midday trading, and up 4.69% on a year-to-date basis. Aetna Inc., meanwhile, is up 2.03% year-to-date, and Bank of America Corp. is up 9.05% year-to-date. BAC makes up approximately 8.1% of the underlying holdings of XLF.
