In afternoon trading on Tuesday, Consumer Products stocks are the worst performing sector, showing a 0.1% loss. Within that group, Coty, Inc. (NYSE:COTY) and J.M. Smucker Co. (NYSE:SJM) are two large stocks that are lagging, showing a loss of 12.9% and 1.9%, respectively. Among consumer products ETFs, one ETF following the sector is the iShares U.S. Consumer Goods ETF (NYSE:IYK), which is up 0.1% on the day, and up 10.44% year-to-date. Coty, Inc., meanwhile, is down 5.60% year-to-date, and J.M. Smucker Co., is down 4.92% year-to-date. SJM makes up approximately 0.6% of the underlying holdings of IYK.

The next worst performing sector is the Utilities sector, up 0.1%. Among large Utilities stocks, Southern Company (NYSE:SO) and SCANA Corp (NYSE:SCG) are the most notable, showing a loss of 0.8% and 0.6%, respectively. One ETF closely tracking Utilities stocks is the Utilities Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLU), which is flat on the day in midday trading, and up 14.30% on a year-to-date basis. Southern Company , meanwhile, is up 0.87% year-to-date, and SCANA Corp, is down 16.20% year-to-date. Combined, SO and SCG make up approximately 8.3% of the underlying holdings of XLU.
