In afternoon trading on Wednesday, Services stocks are the best performing sector, higher by 1.2%. Within that group, Macy's Inc (NYSE:M) and Dish Network Corp (NASDAQ:DISH) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 11.0% and 3.9%, respectively. Among the largest ETFs, one ETF closely following services stocks is the iShares U.S. Consumer Services ETF (NYSE:IYC), which is up 1.1% on the day, and up 5.27% year-to-date. Macy's Inc, meanwhile, is up 33.42% year-to-date, and Dish Network Corp, is down 30.41% year-to-date. Combined, M and DISH make up approximately 0.5% of the underlying holdings of IYC.

The next best performing sector is the Materials sector, higher by 1.1%. Among large Materials stocks, Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold (NYSE:FCX) and Packaging Corp of America (NYSE:PKG) are the most notable, showing a gain of 5.2% and 3.6%, respectively. One ETF closely tracking Materials stocks is the Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLB), which is up 1.2% in midday trading, and down 1.10% on a year-to-date basis. Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold, meanwhile, is down 11.21% year-to-date, and Packaging Corp of America, is down 0.75% year-to-date. Combined, FCX and PKG make up approximately 5.2% of the underlying holdings of XLB.
