In afternoon trading on Tuesday, Energy stocks are the best performing sector, higher by 1.1%. Within that group, Schlumberger Ltd (NYSE:SLB) and Diamondback Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:FANG) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 3.8% and 3.1%, respectively. Among energy ETFs, one ETF following the sector is the Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSE:XLE), which is up 0.8% on the day, and up 8.86% year-to-date. Schlumberger Ltd, meanwhile, is up 4.79% year-to-date, and Diamondback Energy, Inc. is up 8.87% year-to-date. Combined, SLB and FANG make up approximately 5.3% of the underlying holdings of XLE.

The next best performing sector is the Consumer Products sector, higher by 0.5%. Among large Consumer Products stocks, General Mills Inc (NYSE:GIS) and Altria Group Inc (NYSE:MO) are the most notable, showing a gain of 2.3% and 2.1%, respectively. One ETF closely tracking Consumer Products stocks is the iShares U.S. Consumer Goods ETF (IYK), which is up 0.5% in midday trading, and up 15.54% on a year-to-date basis. General Mills Inc, meanwhile, is up 37.42% year-to-date, and Altria Group Inc is up 7.45% year-to-date. Combined, GIS and MO make up approximately 5.9% of the underlying holdings of IYK.
