Investors Grab AKR Even Lower Than Its Secondary Stock Offering

Looking back to 2 days ago, Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE:AKR) priced a 5,000,000 share secondary stock offering at $23.25 per share. Buyers in that offering made a considerable investment into the company, expecting that their investment would go up over the course of time. In trading on Thursday, bargain hunters could buy shares of AKR and achieve a cost basis 2.5% cheaper than those buyers, with shares changing hands as low as $22.66 per share.
