In afternoon trading on Monday, Utilities stocks are the worst performing sector, higher by 0.3%. Within that group, Constellation Energy Corp (NASDAQ:CEG) and Vistra Corp (NYSE:VST) are two of the day's laggards, showing a loss of 3.6% and 3.2%, respectively. Among utilities ETFs, one ETF following the sector is the Utilities Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSE:XLU), which is flat on the day on the day, and up 23.16% year-to-date. Constellation Energy Corp, meanwhile, is up 67.03% year-to-date, and Vistra Corp is up 41.89% year-to-date. Combined, CEG and VST make up approximately 13.3% of the underlying holdings of XLU.
The next worst performing sector is the Consumer Products sector, up 0.4%. Among large Consumer Products stocks, Church & Dwight Co Inc (NYSE:CHD) and Altria Group Inc (NYSE:MO) are the most notable, showing a loss of 1.1% and 1.0%, respectively. One ETF closely tracking Consumer Products stocks is the iShares U.S. Consumer Goods ETF (IYK), which is up 0.1% in midday trading, and up 7.58% on a year-to-date basis. Church & Dwight Co Inc, meanwhile, is down 15.59% year-to-date, and Altria Group Inc is up 29.06% year-to-date. Combined, CHD and MO make up approximately 5.4% of the underlying holdings of IYK.
