Obamanomics is a term used to refer to President Barack Obama's often controversial economic philosophy, which includes higher taxes for higher earning families, lower taxes for companies that provide healthcare and hire American workers, as well as greater investment in the sciences, healthcare, and education. Obama's economic policy has been criticized for allowing payroll taxes to increase and for increasing government spending.
