Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned cash to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at one noteworthy recent insider buy.
At CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust (CORR), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Monday, Director Catherine A. Lewis bought 5,536 shares of CORR, for a cost of $7.84 each, for a total investment of $43,402. So far Lewis is in the green, up about 3.7% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $8.13. CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust is trading up about 1.1% on the day Thursday. Before this latest buy, Lewis made one other buy in the past year, purchasing $30,126 shares for a cost of $6.75 a piece.
