In trading on Tuesday, precious metals shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 3.1%. Leading the group were shares of McEwen Mining (NYSE:MUX), up about 15.7% and shares of Allied Nevada Gold (ANV) up about 11.4% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are semiconductors shares, up on the day by about 1.4% as a group, led by SunEdison (SUNE), trading higher by about 23.7% and Invensense (INVN), trading higher by about 8.8% on Tuesday.
