The S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and NASDAQ Composite are lower in afternoon trading on Monday. Some of the most actively traded stocks include Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) down 3.15%, Kinder Morgan (NYSE:KMI) down 3.3%, Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) lower by 1.5%, and GE (NYSE:GE) down 1.65%.
Good afternoon this is Sayoko Murase with the Week Ahead Market Report for December 1, 2014.
In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was higher, up 0.75%, and the Hang Seng was lower by 2.58%. In Europe, the FTSE 100 was lower by 0.99% and the German DAX was down 0.17% today.
In economic news, Auto Sales is released tomorrow, Initial Claims on Thursday, and Nonfarm Payrolls and Unemployment Rate on Friday.
Some of the companies releasing earnings this week include: Bob Evans Farms (BOBE) on Tuesday, Aeropostale (ARO) and Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) on Wednesday, Barnes & Noble (BKS) on Thursday, and Genesco (NYSE:GCO) on Friday.
