As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at one noteworthy recent insider buy.
On Friday, CEO C. Keith Cargill purchased $431,200 worth of Texas Capital Bancshares (NASDAQ:TCBI), purchasing 10,000 shares at a cost of $43.12 a piece. Before this latest buy, Cargill made one other buy in the past year, purchasing $267,200 shares at a cost of $53.44 each. Texas Capital Bancshares is trading up about 0.5% on the day Tuesday.
