Apple approved an increase of 11 percent to the Company's quarterly dividend, and has declared a dividend of $.52 per share, payable on May 14, 2015 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 11, 2015.
Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) announced a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.375 per share, an increase of 2.5 cents, or 7 percent, per share from the prior quarter. The dividend is payable June 1, 2015, to stockholders of record on May 8, 2015, as approved by the Wells Fargo board of directors.
IBM (NYSE:IBM) declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $1.30 per common share, payable June 10, 2015 to stockholders of record May 8, 2015. Today's dividend declaration represents an increase of $0.20, or 18 percent higher than the prior quarterly dividend of $1.10 per common share.
MetLife (NYSE:MET) declared a second quarter common stock dividend of $0.375 per share, an increase of 7 percent from the first quarter common stock dividend of $0.35 per share. The dividend will be payable on June 12, 2015 to shareholders of record as of May 11, 2015.
SunTrust Banks (NASDAQ:STI) announced an increase in the dividend on SunTrust common stock. A quarterly cash dividend of $0.24 per common share was declared payable on June 15, 2015, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 29, 2015. The previous quarterly dividend was $0.20.
United Technologies Corp.'s (UTX) Board of Directors declared a dividend of 64 cents per common share payable June 10 to shareowners of record at the close of business May 15. The ex-dividend date is May 13.
Boeing (NYSE:BA) reports that the board of directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of ninety-one ($0.91) cents per share. The dividend is payable June 5, 2015, to shareholders of record as of May 8, 2015.
Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE:NSC) announced the regular quarterly dividend of 59 cents per share on its common stock, payable on June 10 to stockholders of record on May 1.
And, Exelon Corporation declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.31 per share on Exelon's common stock. The dividend is payable on June 10, 2015, to shareholders of record of Exelon as of 5:00 p.m. New York Time on May 15, 2015.
