As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at one noteworthy recent insider buy.
On Wednesday, Hasbro (NASDAQ:HAS)'s Director, Basil Anderson, made a $72,347 purchase of HAS, buying 1,000 shares at a cost of $72.35 a piece. Bargain hunters are able to bag HAS even cheaper than Anderson did, with the stock changing hands as low as $71.33 in trading on Monday -- that's 1.4% below Anderson's purchase price. Hasbro is trading trading flat on the day Monday. This buy marks the first one filed by Anderson in the past year.
