Late Friday, Towers Watson (NASDAQ:TW) declared its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders the prior quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 0.5% going forward.
In other dividend news, Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 38 cents per share. Lowe's (NYSE:LOW) maintained its quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share. Sysco (NYSE:SYY) maintained its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share. And Zimmer Biomet Holdings (NYSE:ZBH) maintained its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Altria (NYSE:MO) announced its quarterly dividend of 56.5 cents per share, an increase of about 9% over its prior dividend. Westlake Chemical (NYSE:WLK) announced its quarterly dividend of 18.15 cents per share, an increase of about 10%. MGE Energy (NASDAQ:MGEE) announced its quarterly dividend of 29.5 cents per share, an increase of about 4% over its prior dividend. Crossamerica Partners (NYSE:CAPL) announced its quarterly distribution of 56.25 cents per share, an increase of about 3%. And Connecticut Water Service (CTWS) announced its quarterly dividend of 26.75 cents per share, an increase of about 4% over its prior dividend in May of 25.8 cents.
