The PowerShares S&P 500 BuyWrite Portfolio ETF (AMEX:PBP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 1.4 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 125,000. Shares of PBP were down about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Kinder Morgan (NYSE:KMI), trading off about 5.4% with over 90.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), down about 1.4% on volume of over 36.4 million shares. Autozone (NYSE:AZO) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 4.3% on the day, while Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) is lagging other components of the PowerShares S&P 500 BuyWrite Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 7.8%.
