The Travelers Companies declared a quarterly dividend of $0.67 per share, an increase of 10%.This dividend is payable on June 30, 2016, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on June 10, 2016.
PPG (NYSE:PPG) approved a 4-cents-per-share increase in the company's dividend, declaring a regular quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share, payable June 10 to shareholders of record May 10. PPG's last quarterly dividend increase was 7 percent, in the second quarter of 2015.
Magellan Midstream Partners (MMP) has increased the partnership's quarterly cash distribution to 80.25 cents per unit for the period Jan. 1 through March 31, 2016, representing the 56th distribution increase since its initial public offering in 2001. The first-quarter 2016 distribution is 12% higher than the first-quarter 2015 distribution of 71.75 cents per unit and represents a 2% increase over the fourth-quarter 2015 distribution of 78.5 cents. The new distribution, which equates to $3.21 per unit on an annualized basis, will be paid May 13 to unitholders of record at the close of business on May 2.
Phillips 66 Partners LP (PSXP) declared a first-quarter 2016 cash distribution of $0.481 per common unit. This quarter's distribution represents an increase of 5 percent over the previous quarterly distribution of $0.458 per unit and a 30 percent increase over first-quarter 2015. The first-quarter distribution is payable May 12, 2016, to unitholders of record as of May 3, 2016.
Visa (NYSE:V) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.14 per share of class A common stock payable on June 7, 2016, to all holders of record of the Company's class A, B and C common stock as of May 13, 2016.
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.38 per share of common stock, payable May 16, 2016, to stockholders of record on May 2, 2016.
