The Board of Directors of Sun Life Financial today announced an increase of 4% or 1.5 cents per share to the dividend to be paid on its common shares, rising to $0.405 per common share, payable June 30, 2016, to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 1, 2016.
Macy's board of directors has authorized an increase in the quarterly dividend on Macy's common stock to 37.75 cents per share from the current 36 cents per share. The new dividend will be payable July 1, 2016, to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 15, 2016. This represents the sixth increase in the dividend in the past five years. Over that period, the quarterly dividend has increased more than seven-fold from 5 cents per share to 37.75 cents per share.
The 3M Board of Directors today declared a dividend on the company's common stock of $1.11 per share for the second quarter of 2016, payable June 12, 2016, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 20, 2016. 3M has paid dividends to its shareholders without interruption for more than 99 years.
ConocoPhillips today announced a quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share, payable June 1, 2016, to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 20, 2016.
Prudential Financial announced today the declaration of a quarterly dividend of $0.70 per share of Common Stock, payable on June 16, 2016, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 24, 2016.
