The quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share represents an 11% increase over the dividends paid for the prior and the same quarter last year.

Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT) voted to maintain the quarterly cash dividend of seventy-seven cents ($0.77) per share of common stock, payable February 18, 2017, to stockholders of record at the close of business on January 20, 2017.
