The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Small-Cap ETF (NYSE:EEMS) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 485,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 39,000. Shares of EEMS were up about 0.9% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Momo (NASDAQ:MOMO), trading up about 2.8% with over 768,000 shares changing hands so far this session, and Sina (NASDAQ:SINA), up about 0.2% on volume of over 676,000 shares. Jinkosolar Holdings (NYSE:JKS) is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 6.2% on the day, while Bitauto Holdings (NYSE:BITA) is lagging other components of the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Small-Cap ETF, trading lower by about 2.6%.
