Consolidated Edison (NYSE:ED) declared a quarterly dividend of 69 cents a share on its common stock, payable March 15, 2017 to stockholders of record as of February 15, 2017, an annualized increase of 8 cents over the previous annualized dividend of $2.68 a share.
WEC Energy Group (NYSE:WEC) declared a quarterly cash dividend of 52 cents per share on the company's common stock, an increase of 5.1 percent over the current quarterly dividend of 49.50 cents a share. This raises the annual dividend rate to $2.08 a share. The higher dividend is payable March 1, 2017, to stockholders of record on Feb. 14, 2017.
Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB) approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.50 per share of outstanding common stock, payable on April 17, 2017 to stockholders of record on February 15, 2017.
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.50 per share of common stock, payable February 13, 2017, to stockholders of record on January 31, 2017.
Discover Financial Services declared a quarterly cash dividend on its Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series B, in the amount of $16.25 per share. The dividend equals $0.40625 per depositary share, each representing 1/40th interest in a share of the Series B Preferred Stock. The dividend will be payable on March 6, 2017, to the holders of record at the close of business on February 17, 2017. The Board of Directors also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.30 per share of common stock payable on February 23, 2017, to holders of record at the close of business on February 9, 2017.
