The new dividend rate represents an increase of 7 percent, marking the Company's 14th dividend increase in the last 13 years. The increase is effective with the dividend payable on March 7, 2017 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 24, 2017.
Group 1 Automotive, an international, Fortune 500 automotive retailer, today announced that its board of directors declared a cash dividend of $0.24 per share for the fourth quarter of 2016. The dividend, which represents an increase of 4.3 percent, or $0.01 per share, from the third quarter of 2016, will be payable on March 15, 2017, to stockholders of record as of March 1, 2017.
