In trading on Thursday, general contractors & builders shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 3.2%. Leading the group were shares of Hovnanian Enterprises (NYSE:HOV), up about 7.1% and shares of Meritage Homes (NYSE:MTH) up about 5.3% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are shipping shares, up on the day by about 2.1% as a group, led by Danaos (NYSE:DAC), trading up by about 12.1% and Star Bulk Carriers (NASDAQ:SBLK), trading higher by about 7.4% on Thursday.
