In trading on Tuesday, the Junior Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDXJ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Premier Gold Mines (PG.CA), up about 9.5% and shares of Centerra Gold (TSE:CG.CA), up about 5.9% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (NYSE:KRE), down about 5% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of Western Alliance Bancorp (NYSE:WAL), lower by about 7.6%, and shares of Bank of the Ozarks (OZRK), lower by about 7.2% on the day.
