The iShares Exponential Technologies ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 637,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 73,000. Shares of XT were trading flat on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Advanced Micro Devices, trading up about 1.5% with over 38.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Micron Technology, off about 1.8% on volume of over 14.5 million shares. Lexicon Pharmaceuticals is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 8% on the day, while Ciena is lagging other components of the iShares Exponential Technologies ETF, trading lower by about 8.6%.
