Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Wednesday, PolarityTE's Director, Jeffrey Hansen Dyer, made a $86,586 buy of COOL, purchasing 8,052 shares at a cost of $10.75 a piece. Dyer was up about 61.5% on the purchase at the high point of today's trading session, with COOL trading as high as $17.37 at last check today. PolarityTE is trading up about 17.3% on the day Monday. This purchase marks the first one filed by Dyer in the past year.
And at SRC Energy, there was insider buying on Wednesday, by Director Paul Korus who purchased 5,000 shares for a cost of $8.35 each, for a trade totaling $41,750. SRC Energy is trading off about 0.5% on the day Monday.
