In early trading on Thursday, shares of CSX (NASDAQ:CSX) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 6.9%. Year to date, CSX registers a 39.7% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY), trading down 3.7%. eBay is showing a gain of 9.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Seagate Technology (STX), trading down 2.7%, and Starbucks (SBUX), trading up 1.8% on the day.
