In trading on Friday, trucking shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3.2%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Arcbest Corporation (NASDAQ:ARCB), off about 22.6% and shares of YRC Worldwide (YRCW) down about 19.4% on the day.
Also lagging the market Friday are advertising shares, down on the day by about 1.8% as a group, led down by National Cinemedia (NASDAQ:NCMI), trading lower by about 25.4% and MDC Partners (MDCA), trading lower by about 4.9%.
