The iShares MSCI World ETF (NYSE:URTH) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 206,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 34,000. Shares of URTH were down about 0.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), trading up about 0.9% with over 36.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), up about 2.6% on volume of over 31.2 million shares. Newell Brands (NASDAQ:NWL) is the component faring the best Monday, up by about 11.6% on the day, while Liberty Global (NASDAQ:LBTYA) is lagging other components of the iShares MSCI World ETF, trading lower by about 8.1%.
