Northern Trust Corporation (NASDAQ:NTRS) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.42 per share on its common stock ($1.66-2/3 par value), payable on October 1, 2017, to holders of record at 5:00 p.m., Chicago time, on September 1, 2017. The dividend represents a more than 10 percent increase from the prior quarterly rate of $0.38 per share.
Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE:NEM) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.075 per share of common stock, payable on September 28, 2017, to holders of record at the close of business on September 14, 2017.
Ally Financial (NYSE:ALLY) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.12 per share of the company's common stock, payable on August 15, 2017 to shareholders of record on August 1, 2017.
Visa (NYSE:V) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.165 per share of class A common stock (determined in the case of class B and class C common stock and series B and C convertible participating preferred stock on an as-converted basis) payable on September 5, 2017, to all holders of record as of August 18, 2017.
The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE:SHW) announced a regular quarterly dividend of $0.85 per common share, payable on September 8, 2017, to shareholders of record on August 18, 2017.
Corning (NYSE:GLW) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.155 per share on the company's common stock. The dividend will be payable on Sept. 29, 2017, to shareholders of record on Aug. 31, 2017.
