The PowerShares Dynamic Building & Construction Portfolio ETF (NYSE:PKB) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 192,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 60,000. Shares of PKB were up about 1.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Home Depot (NYSE:HD), trading up about 1.4% with over 5.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Louisiana Pacific (NYSE:LPX), up about 0.7% on volume of over 2.4 million shares. US Concrete (USCR) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 4% on the day, while KBR (NYSE:KBR) is lagging other components of the PowerShares Dynamic Building & Construction Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 3.2%.
