The iShares U.S. Industrials ETF (AMEX:IYJ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 406,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 60,000. Shares of IYJ were trading flat on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were General Electric (NYSE:GE), trading up about 2.1% with over 32.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Paypal Holdings (NASDAQ:PYPL), off about 1.2% on volume of over 5.0 million shares. Hexcel (NYSE:HXL) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 3.5% on the day, while Jabil Circuit (NYSE:JBL) is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Industrials ETF, trading lower by about 4.5%.
