As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at one noteworthy recent insider buy.
On Friday, Director Jonah Staw bought $9,946 worth of Lands' End (NASDAQ:LE), buying 760 shares at a cost of $13.09 each. Before this latest buy, Staw made one other purchase in the past year, buying $16,301 shares at a cost of $18.11 each. Lands' End Inc is trading up about 2.4% on the day Wednesday. Investors have the opportunity to bag LE at a price even lower than Staw did, with the stock trading as low as $12.65 in trading on Wednesday which is 3.3% under Staw's purchase price.
