In trading on Friday, the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (NYSE:XRT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 0.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of JC Penney (JCP), up about 14.2% and shares of Rite Aid (RAD), up about 11.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares U.S. Medical Devices ETF (NYSE:IHI), down about 1.8% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of Penumbra (NYSE:PEN), lower by about 8.3%, and shares of Inogen (NASDAQ:INGN), lower by about 4.2% on the day.
