The PowerShares High Yield Equity Dividend Achievers Portfolio ETF (NASDAQ:PEY) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 1.4 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 128,000. Shares of PEY were off about 0.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were AT&T (NYSE:T), trading up about 4.5% with over 40.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), off about 0.9% on volume of over 11.4 million shares. Owens & Minor (NYSE:OMI) is lagging other components of the PowerShares High Yield Equity Dividend Achievers Portfolio ETF Thursday, trading lower by about 16.7%.
