In early trading on Friday, shares of Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 0.8%. Year to date, Procter & Gamble Company has lost about 13.7% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is McDonald's Corp (NYSE:MCD), trading down 3.8%. McDonald's Corp is lower by about 12.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Boeing (BA), trading down 3.0%, and Coca-Cola (KO), trading up 0.5% on the day.
