In early trading on Thursday, shares of Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 0.4%. Year to date, Pfizer has lost about 0.1% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG), trading down 1.2%. Procter & Gamble Company is lower by about 19.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Chevron Corporation (CVX), trading down 1.1%, and Cisco Systems (CSCO), trading up 0.3% on the day.
