The Coal ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 1.2 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 61,000. Shares of KOL were up about 0.6% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Teck Resources, trading up about 0.9% with over 594,000 shares changing hands so far this session, and Warrior Met Coal, up about 2.2% on volume of over 441,000 shares. Westshore Terminals is the component faring the best Monday, higher by about 2.3% on the day, while Peabody Energy is lagging other components of the Coal ETF, trading lower by about 0.1%.
