In trading on Monday, application software shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of SOHU.com (NASDAQ:SOHU), down about 13.3% and shares of Castlight Health (CSLT) off about 12.5% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are information technology services shares, down on the day by about 2.7% as a group, led down by Pivotal Software (PVTL), trading lower by about 9% and Docusign (NASDAQ:DOCU), trading lower by about 7%.
