The Board of Directors of La-Z-Boy declared a quarterly cash dividend on the company's common stock of $0.12 per share. The dividend is payable September 14, 2018, to shareholders of record as of September 7, 2018.

Franklin Resources announced a quarterly cash dividend in the amount of $0.23 per share payable on October 12, 2018 to stockholders of record holding shares of common stock at the close of business on September 28, 2018. The quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share is equivalent to the quarterly dividend paid for the prior quarter and represents a 15% increase over the quarterly dividend paid for the same quarter last year.

The Board of Directors of Best Buy has authorized the payment of a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.45 per common share. The quarterly dividend is payable on October 9, 2018, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 18, 2018. The company had 276,009,016 shares of common stock issued and outstanding as of August 4, 2018.

Motorola Solutions, today announced that its board of directors has approved a regular quarterly dividend of 52 cents per share payable in cash on Oct. 15, 2018, to stockholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 14, 2018.

Avnet, a leading global technology solutions provider, today announced that the Board of Directors approved an expansion of the company's current share repurchase authorization by $500 million. Avnet now has $722 million available for share repurchases when combined with prior authorizations. In addition, Avnet's Board of Directors approved a 5.3% increase in the quarterly cash dividend to $0.20 per share. The dividend will be paid on September 20, 2018 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 10, 2018.
