In trading on Monday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of First Majestic Silver Corp (NYSE:AG), off about 15.8% and shares of Endeavour Silver Corp (NYSE:EXK) down about 9.7% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are general contractors & builders shares, down on the day by about 3% as a group, led down by Hovnanian Enterprises (NYSE:HOV), trading lower by about 5.2% and Lennar Corp (NYSE:LEN), trading lower by about 5%.
