In trading on Thursday, the Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund ETF (NYSE:XLU) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 0.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Pinnacle West Capital (NYSE:PNW), up about 1.7% and shares of PPL (NYSE:PPL), up about 1.7% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF (NYSE:XBI), off about 3.3% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ARWR), lower by about 17.2%, and shares of PTC Therapeutics (NASDAQ:PTCT), lower by about 9.4% on the day.
