The iShares Global Clean Energy ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 837,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 66,000. Shares of ICLN were off about 1.9% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais, trading off about 6.5% with over 8.3 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Sunrun, off about 5% on volume of over 587,000 shares. Covanta Holding is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 1.4% on the day.
