The First Trust Long/Short Equity ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 150,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 37,000. Shares of FTLS were down about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Bank of America, trading off about 0.3% with over 46.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Microsoft, off about 1% on volume of over 34.7 million shares. Nike is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 7% on the day, while Conagra Brands is lagging other components of the First Trust Long/Short Equity ETF, trading lower by about 6.9%.
